Hello, and a big welcome from Ballycastle In Moyle.Ballycastle is a small seaside village set between the slooping hills of Knocklayde and the beautiful Green Glens of Antrim, With a population of approximately 5,500 residents the town itself is most famous for the Ould Lammas Fair which is held every year on the last Monday and Tuesday in August. The fair brings crowds of up to 20,000 people to Ballycastle to enjoy the tastes and smells of Dulse(an edible seaweed) or the sticky candy known locally as Yellowman. |
